Mr. Kim L. Hunter | Managing Partner
Kim L. Hunter is the Managing Partner of KLH & Associates. He has an extensive background in sourcing and recruiting highly skilled and qualified talent, particularly ethnic minorities, for advertising, marketing and public relations positions. Hunter is a consummate entrepreneur with an expansive network, established reputation and substantial experience with 36 years in the industry.
Hunter is the Chairman & CEO of The LAGRANT Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing minorities with scholarships and professional development; as well as President & Chief Executive Officer of LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS, a diverse multimillion-dollar integrated marketing communications corporation.
Hunter was recognized with an Individual Achievement SABRE Award and named as one of In2’s Innovator 25 by The Holmes Report. He received PRWeek’s PR Professional of the Year – Agency Honorable Mention and Diversity Distinction in PR awards; he has been mentioned by “The 50 Most Powerful People in PR” list yearly from 2012 through 2018. Hunter is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award by Arthur W. Page Society. PRWeek named Hunter one of the Top 20 Most Influential Communicators in the last 20 years.
Hunter earned a master’s degree in International Management from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington. He also possesses two minority business program certificates from Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business Administration and an Advanced Management Program certificate from Northwestern University.
